Intel® Network Builders is an ecosystem of independent software vendors (ISVs), operating system vendors (OSVs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), telecom equipment manufacturers (TEMs), system integrators, and communications service providers coming together to accelerate the adoption of network functions virtualization (NFV)- and software defined networking (SDN)-based solutions in telecommunications networks and public, private enterprise, and hybrid clouds.
This screenshot shows a fully virtualized RaaS 20MHz LTE-FDD cell, consistently sustaining peak rate in both DL and UL, using a very small fraction of the server's computational horsepower. Also, the suboptimal fronthaul with a RTT latency larger than 20ms did not affect the performance at all, and the fronthaul throughput is order of magnitude smaller than CPRI.

Phluido RaaS demo was successfully showcased at the Telecom Council of Silicon Valley event "Infrastructure Forum: Radical RAN"
Attendees have been able to connect to our fully virtualized LTE network, with baseband in public cloud and fronthaul over IP, using commercial off-the-shelf smartphones.
Phluido will showcase a 4G LTE network based on Radio-as-a-Service (RaaS) technology. The visitors will be able to connect a commercial smartphone to the live indoor LTE network, and experience the superior performance that centralized Radio Access Network (RAN) can provide.
